Andrea Schwartz Gallery is pleased to announce the fourth solo show with Tom Bolles. The exhibition will be on view from March 13 – April 18, with an opening on March 13 from 5:30-7:30.
Tom Bolles straddles two styles of painting in his newest body of work. The majority of the art in this exhibit is in keeping with his traditional, more minimal style of painting on canvas, but he continues to explore new styles, utilizing imagery of pills, blood cells, and gummy bears. Bolles creates bright, playful images using modern digital technology, while still exploring the depth that he achieves in his traditional paintings.
Bolles intends to continue to explore both his newfound and conventional styles. In every artwork that he creates, his goal remains the same, to create something with an emphasis on light, color, and surface.
