Concluding our 2021 exhibition season, Themes+Projects presents Still Beauty by Brigitte Carnochan. In this new series, Carnochan works with various flora and objects to create beautiful still life arrangements. The exhibition contains 19 new photographic works that range in technique from, “painting with light” to Cyanotype over Platinum.
The “painting with light” technique creates photographs that have a painterly look and allude to the Dutch, Spanish, and Italian Old Master painters. Thematically, this series continues her long tradition of elevating the beauty around us through her compositions and mastery of photographic techniques.
