Join us on Saturday March 22nd, from 2–4 PM, for a special opening reception honoring the late Gregory Kondos, a master of California landscape painting. Known for his vibrant depictions of the Sacramento River, Yosemite, Napa’s vineyards, and the Pacific coastline, Kondos captured the essence of these places with a striking balance of abstraction and representation. A recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the California Arts Council and a member of the National Academy of Design, his bold use of color and deep connection to the land have solidified his place as one of America’s most celebrated landscape painters.
This meaningful occasion will feature a special appearance by Moni Van Camp, Kondos’ wife and muse, who will share personal stories and insights into his artistic journey. Guests will have the opportunity to experience his iconic works up close, reflecting on the beauty and serenity that defined his vision. Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz piano and fine wines as we pay tribute to Kondos’ lasting legacy. The exhibition runs through April 30th.
