Corden Potts Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibit of images by Max Kellenberger, Selections 1979 to 2019. The exhibit, which opens on May 2 and runs through June 29, was curated by Niniane Kelley.
As the show’s title indicates, it’s an exhibit of work that Max has created over the past 40 years. Some of the images in the show have never been seen before.
As diverse as these images seem not only in date but also in subject and style, Max says, “They are all connected through recurring themes such as emptiness, desperate harmony, and abysmal depth. But to make the serious ideas all the more bearable, there is also a spark of humor, lightness, and irony.”
