Transmission Gallery forges ahead with in-person exhibitions, featuring Jeremiah Jenkins: the world as we know it, on view through February 12, 2021.
With the chaos and discomfort of 2020 rolling into memory, it seems fitting that work by Jeremiah Jenkins will inaugurate a new year of exhibitions at Transmission Gallery as we face what comes next. In large part Jenkins’ work is about rebuilding, reimagining and reconstructing a future from the damaged, discarded, distressed accumulations of the past. With a quirky conglomeration of reality, memory, desire and presence, the work invites a sense of humor, curiosity and hope in facing the challenges and disheartening uncertainties ahead.
Come out to see it in the real, Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 5 pm at Transmission Gallery, current health guidelines permitting.
